POP & FLY PORTFOLIO REVIEW

Posted by Steve DeCusatis @ 10:29 am

If you’re a young designer or a recent college design grad, don’t miss this opportunity! Next Wednesday, there will be many talented Philly designers (with various backgrounds) reviewing portfolios (graphic design, illustration, fashion, advertising, and more) and giving feedback. I’m happy to be included with all the other Philly creatives giving professional advice. My good friend, Andrea Pippins, runs Fly Girl Blog and put this awesome event together. And it’s FREE – Free advice by a mix portfolio reviewers – Can’t beat that. You can RSVP by going to http://popandflyreview.eventbrite.com and read more about Fly at http://www.flygirlblog.com/.

A great book covering all the bases about typography is now available by HOW books. Mastering Type, written and edited by Denise Bosler, is fantastic and I am truly proud to be in such a comprehensive design book about type.
