Posted by Steve DeCusatis @ 4:23 pm

We recently letterpressed our latest batch of business cards with Two Paperdolls in Wayne, PA. It’s a 2-color letterpress over a blind hit of our logo – creating a de-bossed effect. Check out more info at Beauty of Letterpress.

AIGA PHILADELPHIA MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Posted by Steve DeCusatis @ 8:26 pm

I recently signed up for a unique opportunity to give back to the Philly design community by mentoring an emerging designer. How could I pass this up? It would’ve been awesome to have this opportunity when I graduated college.. if only this were around then! AIGA Philadelphia’s Mentorship Program engages professionals in a short-term, one-on-one mentoring relationship with a design student or recent graduate in the Philadelphia area.

THOSE WHO CAN TEACH

Posted by Steve DeCusatis @ 8:03 am

I am happy to announce that I will be in a group design exhibition for the month of September along with many other talented Philadelphia-area designers. Other participants include Ron Cala, David Copestakes, Stephanie Knopp, Alice Drueding, Soonduk Krebs, Scotty Reifsnyder, Kathy Mueller Cantagallo, Tim Ogline, Kelly Holohan, Dermot Mac Cormack, Abby Bennett, Matt Curtius, Maribeth Kradel-Weitzel, Gina Triplett, Allan Espiritu, Scott Laserow, Gigi McGee, and John Langdon. Details below form AIGA Philadelphia’s site:

Have you ever heard the expression, “Those who can, do; Those who can’t, teach” ? AIGA Philadelphia has set out to disprove that theory. These amazingly talented professors from the Philadelphia area have dedicated their lives to training the future generation of creatives while their own work remains at the top of their fields. This exhibition will be a survey of some beautiful—and often award-winning—work produced by those who can teach.

Opening Reception: First Friday – September 6, 6-9pm

Exhibition: Wednesday, September 4, 2013 through Monday, September 30, 2013

SPACE Gallery Address: 72 North 2nd Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Below exhibition poster design by Ron Cala.
